“My husband and I bought the old Forest Nursery south of Rockford on scenic Route 2 nearly 10 years ago. We did some chemical free gardening, grew some lavender, and did lots of cleanup! All the while, we were trying to figure out how to share this wonderful place with others.
I love Yoga and have been practicing for many years. One day while driving to the opposite side of town to go to a yoga class, I thought why not make the farm an oasis for well being, enabling people to find their inner happiness? And, this oasis shall include a Yoga Studio!
We got to work converting an old pig barn into a studio, offered Goat Yoga over the summer, converted an old garage into a retail space, and after nearly 2 years, the studio is open!
